Around my town.

So I thought I would let you see a typical ( ish) saturday wander into town. I live in a small town called Clitheroe in Lancashire. Situated at the foot of Pendle Hill, Clitheroe is probably most famous for its Witchy connections, and was once memorably described by a character in the TV Show Lost as ‘The Arse End Of Nowhere’, so there you have it.lol…………..

Anyway here are a few pictures of our wander into town today. 🙂 We walked into town via the castle grounds. The park is somewhere we have been avoiding just a little bit , as we are no longer dog owners. But it is a beautiful place and it was sad walking through there, but full of good memories too. Sorry for being a big softie these days!

We bought a local blue cheese called Blacksticks Blue and then headed to our local for a quick drink. Wil enjoys Real Ales and there is a great selection here. It is usually full of friendly hounds to pet too……but we saw none today. 😦 Finally we bobbed in to see Wil’s Mum and sat in her conservatory. The sky was blue and it had turned into a nice day. I’m so glad the days are finally getting longer. Cannot believe it is actually March already. Have you been out anywhere in your neighborhood today?
