Mothers Day and the family headed for Mum’s house in the picturesque Cumbrian village of Askham. We were all spoilt (yes she cooked for us! ) with a delicious home cooked Sunday roast and one of Mum’s famous trifles. Afterwards we went for a walk down the village and along a country lane. Of course I couldn’t resist taking a few photographs as the place was blooming with dancing daffodils.
It was a lovely family day. 🙂
