Well, looking at the year ahead I have actually got loads to be excited about:) I still get that wonderful nervous Christmas morning butterflies feeling when I can’t wait for something good to happen. Here is what I’m currently feeling excited about.
A soon to happen marathon Game of Thrones fest. I cannot wait!
A meet up with a couple of lovely craft fair friends for a mooch round Skipton.
A little camping trip in a couple of weeks with the other half.
Camping with friends at the King of the Mountains Festival in Yorkshire and getting to see the first stage of the Tour de France.
A pot painting date at Paint Pot with my niece and nephew.
A trip to Paris in July. Its actually so Wil can see the last stage of the Tour de France. But I’m sure there will be lots of sight seeing and romance too. 😉
A city break in Reykjavik in October. Finally visiting Iceland is a life long dream of mine.
Welcoming a new dog into our home. Hopefully this will happen at the end of the year, once we have got rid of our little travel bug. 🙂

I am I to all things Scandinavian at present-Iceland sounds cool. Not just in the temperature sense 🙂
I’ve been to Oslo ( 8 yrs ago) which I loved though it was incredibly expensive once there. Think will be filling up with breakfast in Reykjavik too , to get us through the daytime. ….like cheeky tourists.:) So excited to be going and hopefully get to see the NorthernLights too…..
Northern lights are definitely on my to see list. My eldest daughter is going to Iceland in Novemebr with college, and is probably going to beat me to it-pesky kids!!!
Sweden will probably be my first port of call up there. I listen to a lot of Swedish music, read Swedish authors, watch The Bridge and Wallander !!
I’m teaching myself Swedish-bit give me a few months, yes? 🙂
Don’t know how you feel about Pippa Middleton, but she was in my area on a bike ride across country to raise money for an illness (can’t remember which one) Kind of exciting!
Yes just read that in the morning paper.She’s doing a 12 day trip in California for charity. 🙂
Yes, yes, yes to Iceland and Reykjavik! One of my favourite places, I’d quite happily live in Iceland! You’ll have a fab time, I’m sure! 🙂 xx
