At the weekend we went for a drive over to the Pendleside village of Barley , so of course I took my trusty camera with me. Its been a while since I have documented the various flora and fauna I have seen. So heres a few pics from our walk. 🙂

If you’re ever in the Pendle area the Pendle Sculpture trail is a fun thing to do. My post about it is here. 🙂
Hope you had a fun weekend. X
I haven’t done the sculpture trail yet but it’s one I keep meaning to do! Next time we’re there, perhaps! That fuzzy growth is a robins pincushion. It’s a gall made by a tiny wasp called Dipoloepis rosae.
Ah thanks for the info.A robins pincushion is a fab name! I hope you get to do the trail sometime. 🙂
Lovely pics. Must go check how the blackberries are coming on – yours look more advanced than I thought ours were.
So lovely to see Pendle Hill, my grandparents and mum are from Burnley!
You will have to take a trip up there sometime. 🙂
