Malham Show.

I’m really pleased that this summer I managed to go to one of our local agricultural shows. Malham Show in the Yorkshire Dales has been going for over 100 years. Set against the scenic backdrop of Malham Cove it featured a varied timetable of events including Heavy Horses, Gundog display, Vintage tractor parade and a Fell Race. I know I have published a few photos in my previous posts but I have plenty more to share with you. 🙂

What I like about these country shows is that they are still so similar to the ones I attended as a young girl with my Mum,Dad and siblings. Traditions are upheld. Despite all the hardships farming life continues. I love that. 🙂

Have you been to any country shows this year?  There is still time as many events are held in September. 🙂
