Late Summer Walks.

Were edging towards the middle of September and I’m still trying to convince myself that it’s Summer. I’m so loathe to let go! Happily we have had a couple of rather nice weekends weather wise so out came my camera on our walks with Hugo. It’s the season of fruit and flowers. 🙂

It’s quite chilly today though…so I might have to give in.  I just feel Summer has been far to short this year.

So goodbye Summer and Hello Autumn!

  1. I feel the same. Bereft that summer this year was a rather drab affair. I also don’t want the long warm nights to end, but there is already a change in the air, the sun too has changed it’s angle in the sky. We can but look forward to the changing of the seasons and look forward to the many sights both autumn and winter bring.

  2. I’m still giving myself to the end of the month before I start properly calling it autumn – that’s when the leaves start to change in October here so i’m somewhat clinging to summer for as long as I can lol
