A Bucket List Progress Report and Links & Likes ~ January.

Last year I started my  25 Before 45 Bucket List and although progress is quite slow, I have at least achieved a few things on it !   Whilst I have not yet learned to crochet, swum in a Lido or watched a Film Outdoors, I have managed to Trek With Llamas in the Lake District, Picnic on a Village Green with my old-fashioned Picnic Hamper ( Not very successfully, Hugo ate the cake ! ),  do a Rail Ale Trail Tour  on the East Lancs Railway  and  take part in  The Morecambe Bay Cross Bay Walk  led by the Queen’s Official Guide, Cedric Robinson. I have just under 2 years to complete the list, so hopefully in 2017 I will make a sizeable chunk in it. Wish me Luck!

And now for a bit of  Blog love. Here are some links to posts I have enjoyed reading in January. X

  1. Its well worth doing. Really unusual, especially when you wade through the water. Luckilly that was done on a sunny warm september day, so never felt cold at all. πŸ™‚

  2. Thanks once again for the mention. πŸ˜€ I love reading your blog and adventures too. πŸ™‚ Thanks for the links to other blogs, it’s always nice to follow new blogs. Good luck in ticking off your list. I don’t like making ‘lists’ as I always feel pressured to do them and if I don’t then I feel a failure. 😦 I look forward to reading about your adventures this year! xx

    1. Your welcome. πŸ™‚ I know what you mean but If I don’t complete it I can always carry on after. I was going to mention the age 50….but OMG , I can’t think that far in front. Lol. :/

  3. I love your bucket list. I’ve never swum in a proper Lido but would love to – make sure you choose a heated one if you’re doing it pre-Spring! Thanks also for the shout out – so kind of you and I’m really delighted you’ve been enjoying my blog.X

    1. I think I may wait until Summer for the Lido swim. I believe there are quite a few in London? The nearest one to me is in Ilkley in Yorkshire and its surrounded by hills and rugged countryside. Sounds good to me!

      1. Good idea. Yes there are lots of them here and some people do go daily, regardless of what the weather is doing. I’ve heard you can even swim at the lake at Hampstead Heath though haven’t tried it myself. Perhaps I shall have to add this to a bucket list of my own!X
