Sunday Sevens ~ 14th April.

Hello and welcome to a Sunday Sevens. This is a collection of seven or more photos from my week. Exciting stuff eh!

Coffee Table ~ We have acquired a coffee table at last! I can’t tell you how fantastic it is to have somewhere proper to pop my brew/wine instead of the floor. Hurrah! Also it’s great for displaying my cacti coaster tree. 🙂

Rhubarb Cleaner ~ Thanks to my friend Jo for gifting me a bottle of ……. Method Anti-Bac wild rhubarb cleaner. The kitchen smells so delicious ly rhubarby after cleaning. And as a big fan of all things rhubarb, I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. 😁 Method Anti-Bac is probably available at most supermarkets. Jo bought it from Booths.

Cheese Easter Egg! ~ Speaking of Booths, Wil found his perfect Easter Egg there. It’s not chocolate, it’s cheese. 🙂

Waffles and a Walk ~ The kids are off school for the Easter break ,so enjoyed scrumptious chocolate waffles at The Chocolate Works in town on Friday, followed by a canal side walk at East Marten near Skipton with my sister and niece & nephew.

Smartie Pants Waffle.
Roman and huge horse!
Canal side.
Jelly ear fungi. Thanks for the I D Louise. 🙂
This gravestone at St Peters in East Marten belongs to a lady with the name of Easter.❤️

Smelly Dog.
Yesterday Wil, Hugo and I did a pub walk to The Red Pump Inn in the village of Bashall eaves. Hugo decided to snaffle down quite a few sheep poops. We suffered his stinky trumps all evening. :/

Walkies.

Thanks to Natalie at Threads & Bobbins for devising Sunday Sevens.

How was your week?

  1. Can’t beat the usefulness of a coffee table. The waffle looks amazing, no more food for a week. I have never heard of a cheese egg, hope it is nice cheese. Lovely walks.

  2. The coffee table looks very 1960s in design, I like it 🙂 My boss’s partner gets the same sort of cleaning spray for their house, the current one is lavender but the rhubarb one sounds lovely so I’ll ask her to get some next time. The fungi look revolting but the waffle looks delicious 🙂

    1. A couple of people saw the pic of the fungi and thought it was dog poo bags. Haha! I will have to look out for the lavender cleaner. X

  3. A cheese Easter egg! Well why not? 😁 Good old Booths. I use a lot of Method products as Method is an eco- friendly cruelty-free brand, and their products all smell much more natural and less overpowering than many other cleaning stuff. My favourites are the lavender hand wash and the Spa bathroom cleaner which has a very delicate water mint aroma. How observant to notice the name Easter inscripted on the gravestone! Perhaps the lady was named after the goddess, Oestra, after whom the ancient spring equinox was named, later adopted by Christianity and turned into Easter. What a great Sunday Seven!

    1. I will definitely be looking out for more Method products now then. Thanks Amanda for the info. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the gravestone. Very appropriate spot considering the time of year. A lovely name too. I like it. X

  4. Although I love cheese, I’m not sure about the Easter egg, so you’ll have to show again once being eaten. Your walk looks lovely as does the the waffle dessert, but I’m not a big fan of smarties. Is the horse a working shire? Thanks for sharing & take care.

    1. I will let you know about the Cheese Easter Egg!
Don’t think the horse was a shire. He was quite fiesty and wanted to get out of the field. He started barging at the gate after I took the photo. Yikes! X

      1. Me too, but struggling to keep up! Just ticked off 250 at the end of last week, so catching up to target. Mind you, a good proportion of my miles have been tough ones!

  5. Your SS has created me a whole new list of things I need:
    cactus coaster tree
    Orange kettle
cheese easter egg – for hubby
But I already have a sheep poo eating dog.

    1. One out of four ain’t bad. 😉 X
      The kettle is la creuset.
The cheese egg from Booths supermarket. Not sure you have them down south though?
The cactus coaster tree was a gift.
The dog is free to good home. This afternoons walk cut short as he was eating all the muck spreading on the field. 😦

      1. Ha ha!
Never heard of Booths. Although we’re so rural now I wouldn’t expect to buy that sort of things anywhere round here – definitely an online look would be required.
Will be round tonight to claim Hugo.

  6. Wild rhubarb cleaner and cheese Easter eggs? I never knew either of those things existed. Must get myself down to Booths and see what else I’m missing out on. 😀

    1. I know , very unusual. And unusually still unopened. Maybe tomorrow eve with a glass of something. That’s the start of my weekend. 🙂
